"I tried to post the review on “Pools by Aqua Design” FB page and it posted on my page instead. (His page doesn’t allow reviews) I highly recommend that people DON’T go with this pool company. The owner Mr. Cantu sells his product by telling you he has been in the pool business for over 40 years, he has the best cleaning system, he is the only certified dealer in Laredo, etc. He promises that he easy to work with but in truth it’s a NIGHTMARE! Once you sign the contract, you will probably never see him again. ( Except when he needs the next check) Even trying to contact him is an even harder process. He is always out of the office “fixing a heater”! They ask for emails about problems but never respond to them. We had numerous problems and questions throughout the process and Mr. Cantu was never around. We started building at the end of January and still waiting for the process to be done with. I have been calling/emailing every week for 3 weeks for them fix our LED lights. They still don’t work. We also have a heater that is YET to be installed. Make sure you have copies of your contract. In our contract, it has that Mr. Cantu will install a UV light system. Mr. Cantu is fighting to put it in, EVEN though it’s in our contact. He tried to explain to us that our Ozone had UV light in the system. Ozone and UV are a totally different system. He is not a man of his word. They also say while the pool is still under contract that they will clean it every week. It’s a lie!! If you consider just throwing cleaning tablets inside the floating device, it’s considered “CLEANING” to Pools by Aqua Design. Mr. Cantu and Mrs. Cantu are very rude and snarky! They seem nice at the very beginning but I promise they are far from it. I highly recommend that people pick another pool company."
