"Got my phone fixed from them. Spent $300 4 days later the phone stopped working. When I went into the store and talked to him about it they said it wasn't under warranty. Told me to get out of their store not to come back and in this man's comments he wants to say I was verbally abusive. That's a joke I remain calm and had a firm tone the entire conversation and there was no other damage that occurred after receiving the phone. I was told the back of my phone didn't need to be fixed that it wouldn't be an issue. Obviously it became one you can look at the screen and see there is no damage was sold a bad screen plain and simple or shotty work was done to install it"
"This place lied to me about the cost of repairs and wasted my time. My google phone started having an annoying green line down the middle of the screen. I looked it up and apparently this sometimes just happens to amOLED screens. I checked on Google's website to see if this was covered under my manufacturer's warranty, and it was covered until the end of the month. I even talked to a representative on their live chat to confirm that this specific issue would be covered. They recommended ubreakIfix as the closest partner to get the repair done. So I brought my phone in to have it repaired, and he again confirmed that the warranty will cover it, and they take my phone only to realize they don't have anymore screens in stock. That's fine, so we scheduled an appointment for a few days later. I bring my phone in again and now I am told that the warranty will not cover it because it is damaged. Keep in mind, I haven't dropped my phone, put any undue pressure on it, gotten it excessively wet, or anything. The line just showed up after I plugged it in one time. I understand there is a warranty policy with Google, but they told me it would be covered. Even still, if you are unable to repair my phone, why did you waste a week of my time waiting for the new screen when I could have sent it in to Google for them to fix under warranty? Especially after I specifically asked about this from the beginning And why was I given two different answers depending on who was working that day? If you would have had screens in stock the first time it would have been fixed, so what changed?"
"Phone was fixed quickly but at hefty price! I appreciated the customer service and the skills. But u break it, u gotta fix it, and they did a great job. Phone looks brand new!"
"If I could give this place negative stars, I would do it without hesitation. As a result of a fall off my bike, my laptop had sustained a small crack in the bottom left corner of the screen, mostly just on the bezel and not interfering with visuals. However, some tiny chips of glass would fall off occasionally from the little crack, so I decided to bring it in to get it repaired right before Spring Break, on March 11, 2023, thinking it could get worked on while I returned home from college for the week. Unfortunately, this led to my own personal two-month-long Hell. I was condescended to, lied to and gaslighted constantly. At one point, I was offered the choice to take their awful repair (the screen literally was bending out of the frame at the top enough to stick a finger through, and they tried to tell me that that's how it was supposed to be), or take my old screen back free of charge. I said I would think about it for a day, and in the end I decided to get back my screen and go someplace else. Well, upon telling him this, he suddenly changed his whole attitude. Initially, he was very nice, and seemed determined to help me with this case: "So we weren't technically supposed to do this kind of repair, but I am dedicated now I will hunt down this part!" Why, thank you but why would you accept it and not tell me this until weeks later? Anyways, after I decided to just forgo their awful repair and take it back with my old screen, I was told no, in fact, the employee that took in the computer that first day had THROWN IT AWAY. They tried to make that employee, since fired, a scapegoat for these errors, including the decision of taking it in in the first place. I would have much rather he'd been upfront and told me as soon as it was no longer an applicable repair, but they pushed on when they absolutely shouldn't have, knowing better and even admitting as much to me. Instead of compensating me for my now-thrown away screen, they wanted to replace it entirely and sell the parts from my old laptop. This seemed insane to me, as my old laptop worked perfectly well except the little crack in the corner. When I told them to wait to take the hard drive out, because I was unsure I approved of this replacement, they TOOK IT OUT ANYWAYS, WITHOUT my permission. And what did I hear, when I went to pick it up? "Your hard drive is corrupted, we don't have the means of trying to get your data off it." Here it is taped to your stuff in a little plastic baggie, effectively useless. Here, go to our other place that will charge you an arm and a leg for our own mistake. My heart dropped, I felt sick. At this point, it had been more than two months after dropping it off with them and even speaking to corporate about the issues I'd been facing with the technician leading this repair. I finally came in and asked for it back, no screen, and no retribution for it. Did I mention, they also broke my camera? The repair tech tried to convince me it "fell apart as they opened the screen, meaning it was broken prior", which is not possible because it was fully functioning before I dropped it off with them (I use it as a webcam for college exams, and had just taken midterms with it the day before). The envelope in the picture is what was left of the webcam, in pieces. They refused to admit they were the culprits of all the brand new scuffs and scratches that appeared all over the lid of the laptop, and even went so far as to try to convince me that it was normal "wear and tear" from my own use. This is wildly false, as I carefully put it in a cushioned sleeve and it was in pristine condition besides the corner crack and minor dent. Lesson learned, always, ALWAYS take pictures as proof before getting a repair done. Please, if you stuck by long enough to read this, for your own sanity do not go to this location for a computer repair of any kind. I hope someone can gain something from the lessons I've learned the hard way. The picture below is from the very last day I walked out with it, in two pieces and without my screen, on May 4th, 2023."
