"We just purchased this house beginning of February. Tankless hot water heater was put in May of 2023 by the previous owners. It just started blinking and flashing an alarm in the past few days. So we called baker and sons because that is who put it in. Technician came very fast but first of all didn't know how to take the cover off of the hot water heater. My fiance had to show him how to take it off. Secondly while looking at it he ripped the gasket. Never apologized, just said I ordered a new gasket and new rods. I'll let you know when they come in and left. Leaving us a family of 5 with 3 small children while it's snowing without hot water for the weekend. Knowing it worked before he came just had to turn it on and off to make it work. We called baker and sons to complain about our service managers reply was; well I'm sure you've made some mistakes while working also. If you don't like our service go somewhere else."

"Gaje's inspection of my plumbing was a great service. He was patient and thorough. Took the extra time to explain what he was doing and why, which helped understand the problem areas found in my home and the estimates he provided. Great continued service from Baker & Sons."

"We called this company twice: once back in the summer & once last week. 1. Back in the summer, the guy showed up & wanted to see the water heater (mind you, the reason he was called was because of a drainage pipe backing up & the water heater doesn't connect to it in any way). He also wanted to see the septic system... Again, not why he was called out (the pipe also didn't connect to the septic). He tried to sell us on a new water heater & septic cleaning... Never really addressed the reason he was called for. 2. Last week, we called due to a leak in a bathtub. The guy came out & again insisted on seeing the water heater & tried to sell us on a new water heater. Again, NOT what he was called for. He finally addressed the issue & wanted over $800 to fix the broken pipe - and this was after he wanted us to call a contractor to cut a hole in the exterior wall to make it easier for him & we supplied the new fixture for the bathtub. Needless to say, we have found a different person to fix it & for a much more reasonable price."

"If I could give zero stars I would. Can we say rip off. A tech came out over a bad expansion tank($35) and push valve($15). Said water heater was under warranty. We will just put new heater in since under warranty. And charge you labor. Which was a grand total of $1000. So why does $50 in parts turn into $1000 in labor? Will never call them again. Did I mention appointment was for 3 and guy got there at 4."
