"-40 outside and 50 in my house. I called and had someone out next morning. He came and advised my gas valve was bad-corroded and if he tried to remove it- might break and that’s $800if it doesn’t break And recommend new furnace 4300.00 as mine is old. Umm it’s -40 but I’ll check around as I’m not feeling these recommendations and it’s going to take days to get fixed. Well a good friend saw my situation, came over easily pulled gas valve-went and bought new one installed it. One hour later I had heat. I know he was swamped with calls- I know 79.00 is just to tell me the issue. But in this weather I think I was just being pushed into a new furnace which I’m sure I need. But I don’t think he was wanting to take the time to replace gas valve as had a full schedule. My experience only but a bit disappointed in how quickly I needed a new furnace but still wait days for heat."
"I would give more stars if I could. After my initial call to the company I had received s call back within the hour. Shortly after our technician Angel was at our home with in 30 minutes. The part for our furnace needed to be ordered and would arrive the next day. However Angel did not give up there and found a supplier that had the part. He went got the part and returned and fixed the issue at hand. This companies prices were very reasonable, not only will I use them again but would refer them to anyone having issues. Kudos to Family Heating and Cooling for their service. Kudos to our technician for spending so much time and effort to fix our system."
"I 100% recommend Family Heating & Cooling. My A/C went out on a Friday, figured I’d wait until Monday to call a service company to avoid the cost of an emergency call. My dad told me about this company, I looked them up and they don’t charge extra for weekend calls. I called to see if they had any availability and Chad was at my house within an hour!!! Unbelievable! He was professional and very down-to-earth which I REALLY appreciate! He had the A/C up and running within 15 minutes! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!"
