After the pool was ready, they proved lessons on how to control and care for the pool. Neal still checks in with us to make sure everything is ok and we are very happy. "Our experience with Neal was poor from the time we signed our contract. We signed our contract in Feb 2022 and excavation took 3 months to start because he kept failing to get the permit submitted with the city. I finally had to call the city myself and they said they had not received any paperwork from Pond Springs. After I mentioned this to Neal, it was done within a week. Excavation began in April and our pool was filled in August (this is the only reason for 2 stars, it was fairly quick to fill date). However, since August 2022, we have had numerous items never get completed, including our fire feature which has not worked EVER, and several other items that are holding up our final inspection and our HOA deposit. Two other items on our contract have not been done at all, and we have basically given up on those. We have been very gracious and patient but at this point I will have to get an attorney to get him to finish the job so we can get through final inspection. Neal has been unresponsive to us unless I call from one of my office phone numbers that he doesn’t know. He’s completely ghosted us otherwise. I've never had to chase someone so much to get a job done, it's ridiculous. Wish we would have just gone with Denali."

"Our pool is three years old and we started having cracks in the pebble tech two years in. We called Neal out to come look at it and he came out once and never responded back to us after that. He would not answer our phone calls, text, or emails. I finally called him from a different number and he picked up the phone. All he gave us was excuses as to why he had not been out. Multiple other people we know have had them build their pools in the past, and they have cracks as well. From our coping, and mastic, to our pool shelves, everything is cracking. The fountain doesn’t work either. Our pool is built in solid rock and should not crack like ours has. We are very disappointed in the workmanship of our pool and do not recommend Pond Springs custom pools to anyone or Neal Pucket and whatever company he starts."

"Pond Springs Custom Pools designed a beautiful pool -- the creativity was amazing and we loved meeting Neal and designing our backyard however; since the last payment was received in November 2020, Neal disappeared. The customer service has been terrible and our pool is falling apart. I've been having one sided conversations -- texting and emailing about broken tiles, cracking and leaks for 20 months. I would say Neal responds to one in every ten messages telling me "he will check it out." He finally looked at the pool in February 2023 but the contractor that was going to fix it never showed. The cracks started with the cement around the pool and then they moved to the tiles and are now continuing to get worse and move into the pool. The waterfall wall had to be turned off a year ago because the cracks caused a leak. The pictures are from this weekend but the cracks in the cement around the pool started almost immediately. Also, our auto-fill NEVER worked. Be VERY careful if you use this builder for your pool. He's great UP UNTIL he has his last check."
