The job was to replace a pressboard under the kitchen sink which had gotten all swollen and there was a moldy smell from water leakage. The carpenter did a beautiful job replacing the pressboard with real wood and the finishing was clean and neat around the edges and the areas where he had to fit around two pipes. "I have a 100+ year old home in the Oak Park historic district. I needed to have extensive repair work to rotted wood and stucco damage on three sides of my house. The wood work that had to be repaired is ornate curved pieces imbedded in the façade stucco. It was very important to me that the repair would exactly duplicate the original look of the house. It clearly needed master craftsman to do this work. Get Dwell provided the master carpenter to duplicate exactly what had been in place, they provided the master stucco work to blend in the repair so that the completed work has left the house in all it's original glory. All the repair work was expertly painted to match the existing colors of the house. Throughout the project Get Dwell kept me completely informed of the progress of the work and the extent of the repairs necessary to do the job right. Get Dwell is clearly a team of master crafts people who take great pride in their work. I highly recommend them for any repairs or construction you might need on your home"
"Overall very happy with Get Dwell. It was a little difficult to get in touch with them at the start, but after that Rocky did a nice job at the house. They removed an old wood paneled wall and replaced with drywall and also replaced a front door that was all jacked up. Highly recommend!"
