"Fantastic guidance with lots of input for families and students to examine all possibilities for college. Highly recommend to talk with advisers to get additional tips that could help families given the current state of college tuition."

"I was very pleased with the information I received from MCPT. Jack was wonderful! He really did a great job at helping me understand the different formulas each college and university has. I definitely feel better prepared to work with my daughter at choosing a school the fits her personal needs as well as our family finances."

"We purchased the application and scholarship package in early April, for our rising HS senior. Our first counselor flaked out but didn't inform us she had quit until late June. Our next counselor finally scheduled an initial meeting for mid-August. In late October we checked the progress and discovered that nothing was close to ready. Test scores and transcripts weren't ordered because nobody told us that was a thing. It's now early November and I finally got an email today that MCPT is refunding the scholarship package because I expect too much. Indeed I do. I expected the application package to have my son ready to hit submit by the agreed-upon date, and I expected the private scholarship search to include a full year of scholarship opportunities, not only those beginning in December. I give two stars only because MCPT had a whopping 9 useless meetings with my son. That is far more time than I paid for. It's a pity that those meetings amounted to me correcting the Common App and frantically ordering transcripts and test scores right up to the Nov. 1 deadline for applications. I didn't pay for the essay package, either, but it's clear that as part of the application process essays need to be moving along. While the content wasn't expected to be reviewed by MCPT, the rundown on where my son should be in completing his essays was."

"MCPT very informative and proactive as our family worked through a financial aid appeals process with my child's university, which resulted in a $3100 reduction in their tuition. I wouldn't have known this was a possibility if they had not provided this information early on in our college planning."
