"Today I couldn't wait to write this review:) Working with the Davis Associates team on my taxes this year (especially) and for the last 15 years has been a phenomenal experience. I had to write a review today b/c I am elated with the customer service journey I experienced over the last couple of weeks. I am purchasing a new home and needed my taxes expedited, forms I've misplaced emailed, and a host of questions and they were there to hold my hand with patience the entire way. Darlene Davis the CEO handled my taxes personally and on the final day I needed them to make a home offer she even went without taking lunch and breaks all day until they were done! "There seems to be a disconnect with the understanding that “anyone” can file their own taxes easily. When one reaches out to a professional “CPA”, it’s to have a trusted advisor to provide suggestions and recommendations to receive the most feasible outcome. I’ve been going here for a few years now. It started off mediocre. Now it’s turned into lack of availability and unprofessionalism. They rarely EVER answer the phone, Slow to respond, and argumentative whenever there are any questions. Owner Continues to blame Covid on the lack of availability and capability to have private meets despite Covid not even being a HUGE issue anymore and restrictions being lifted. Just drop my papers, pay you, and ask no questions???? When she FINALLY agreed to a private appointment to discuss my tax pick up, it confused me when she walked into the conference room without a mask considering being so “Covid” conscious! Not to mention, none of the workers had on masks yet demanded I wear one. (Covid is obviously her scapegoat for providing attention to detail and to address concerns!) I can get better and cheaper service at Jackson Hewitt or H&R Block! Another black business bites the dust! Sadly it’s time to move on. Do NOT trust this establishment to serve your best interest. You’ve been WARNED!"

"Do not get your taxes done here. I literally waited 3 months for my 2020 tax return to be completed. Ms. Davis is always out of the office or out of town. She has entry level tax preparers doing the work for her and she signs off on their work, which she is never available to do. There is no concern or care for your personal tax situation. There is a lack of integrity and only interested in your payment."
