"I had the most traumatic experience of my life in dealing with AMITA Obstetrics & Gynecology Downers Grove, specifically Dr Burtch. My terrible experience not only caused me to leave her care but to leave AMITA altogether. *** If you are high risk, do not want a double booked appointment every time, and/or expect to have your doctor reach out after high-risk ER visits or even a miscarriage… please be weary. *** Extremely disheartening, disappointing. Edit to add (5/5/23) I followed their suggestion and sent an email. I still have not spoken to anyone regarding this complaint. Literally just emails thanking me for my patience. Ridiculous. Clearly this organization and their "we care" team... does not care, at all."

"I have been here twice now, first visit was with the NP Anna. She was kind, and very straight forward with you. She most definitely tried to help with my issue and give me the facts about what could be causing it: The second visit I seen Dr. Michelle Huang. She was kind, and helped me come up with a start to a plan. Always positive experience so far."

"I love my Doctor, Dr. Susan O’Brien. But, they should really consider how their receptionists treat their patients. The phone manners are just as bad. I’ve been really contemplating going somewhere else. When I went up to the front desk after my appointment that wasn’t even made right. Scheduled me something I wasn’t there for. Anyways, the waiting room is full of people as the receptionist with really short hair asked me questions like when was your last Menstrual cycle which is normal, but I couldn’t give her an answer under certain circumstances I did not want to discuss in front of a crowd, but she cut me off and said I’ll just find it in the system. Then was rude all after that. Asking well what did your doctor say, when do you need to come back. I told her I’m not sure, then the doctor came up her attitude changed. Same as the phone so rude. Every time I call they are always cutting me off. This isn’t the first time either, it’s a shame. Still contemplating on to stay or go but if I have to keep encountering the same issue. It will be a problem."

"First of all let me give 5 stars to the Dr Burtch and Dr Simmons. They have been great and Dr Burtch was our doctor through our both pregnancies and our experience is great with her. I have complained about the front office staff and how poorly managed this place is. Getting an appointment is most difficult around here, staff want to push you around and not give appointments, even if you are regular patient and doctor wants to see you in two weeks but staff will say oh we don’t have appointments available. Come on you need to have open slots for your regular patients. Second front office staff is very rude, there answer surprise you some time, and they say this is how it is here. When asked this office to fill out FMLA, these people took many days to fill out, they also lied about not getting it, even though my side fax went ok. They didn’t even fill when handed over to them personally, they said leave it here we will fill it and you can pick up tomorrow, but when called next day they had no idea about FMLA forms, after being on phone for 30 mins, I got the reply that check back tomorrow. If it would not have been for Dr Burtch, we would have gone to other doctor long time back."

"I would give a 100 stars to dr Radha Burch bc beside very knowledgeable, calm, good listener doctor is a wonderful personality also. I am happy that she was with my through my pregnancy. Every nurse and front desk personnel is also very polite, patient and caring. However I would give 0 star to Gayle Simmons who works really bad when she is busy and horrible listener. I have asked her if genetic testing or NIPT is needed since I did it with first pregnancy and she said that that’s being done only once since it is testing my DNA. I end up doing amniocentesis since quad came back positive."
