"I showed up over 15 minutes early for my appointment. My toddler and I were in the waiting room for 20 minutes after my appointment time and several people after me had been called and even come out. I asked the lady at the desk what was happening and she said I should be called next 5 more people were called. So we walked up and told them we were after waiting almost 50 minutes after my appointment time. The wait was about 55-60 minutes including the time.i arrived early for my appointment. I did not reschedule as the wait was very long and unprofessional. They seemed like they were very unorganized in the back."

"While suffering from a rash that causes itching so severe that it interferes with sleep, my primary care physician referred me to Soderstom. After waiting nearly a month for an appointment, I received a call saying the Dr needed to postpone my appointment - the next available was a month and a half later. No referral to someone else (in or out of the practice), no attempt to extend hours or offer anything that could offer relief - just deal with it for another month or two. In fact, no inquiry about how my condition had changed in the month of waiting; just no interest. For those lucky enough to hit the lottery of an actual appointment, just hope no follow-up is needed to complete your treatment. My experience was that the doctors' convenience is significantly more important than the patient's suffering."

"Great treatment, but the billing and insurance verification department is in serious need of improvement. I trusted their staff that completed an pre-estimate of my costs for a preventative procedure. I stated if the cost was in this range, I would feel comfortable being very proactive, but if it was above this range, i may work with the doctor to monitor the situation going forward. We made the appointment, and I got a call saying the pre-estimate fell within my range to move forward and was gaven a specific amount. A month later, I got a bill for almost 4 times the pre-estimate. I called the billing department, and they stated that the estimate I was given would have been correct if I had met my deductible for the year, but I hadn't. It was explained to me that I should be understanding as the employee doing the pre-estimates for insurance was new and in training. I did not feel that an employee making a mistake while in training is an expense that should be put on the patient. I was then told that they do this as a courtesy, and I am responsible for my own insurance, and they cannot provide any cost reduction. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told I was talking to a supervisor. I asked to speak to the next person up the chain because something needs to be done, and she had made it clear she could not do anything. She then said if I paid in full right away, she could give me a 20% discount. So at this point, I had been made aware that they did make a mistake on the pre-estimate and it was because of a new employee in training, but it was ultimately my responsibility. They could not provide a discount, but then later in the conversation they could give me 20% off if I paid in full right away. I am still waiting on a call back from a supervisor to look at other ways to resolve my claim. Very disappointing."

My conditions were properly diagnosed and treated the first time. All procedures were thoroughly explained to me.
