"A very special place. Our son had been struggling with dyslexia, apraxia of speech and various other conditions making it extremely difficult for him in school despite having excellent teachers and lots of support through his IEP. With essentially only 1 type of curriculum from which to learn, he struggled. The final straw was when he was 7 and I found him sitting on the couch, despondent with tears welling up in his eyes and said “I’m not smart... I’m not smart... I’m not smart...” Made the switch in 3rd grade and his confidence and joy of learning have been off the charts! Nearly all of the teaching staff have advanced degrees in special education and have many more curriculum ‘keys’ to unlock they way in which your kids learn. It’s an amazing place. If your kids have special needs, it would be worthwhile for you to explore."
