"I did my Instrument Rating training with WAir and highly recommend this school. Great planes, staff and school infrastructure. And also reasonable prices. Huge shout out to Dave Kosrow and Stewart Kerr for all the support throughout my training process."

"WAir has been an amazing flight school! I started working with WAir after my original school (on the other side of the airport) suddenly shut down. The first thing that very pleasantly surprised me was how open and responsive they are. As I was looking for a new school, I reached out to several operations at PWK. Some never answered their phone nor called me back. A few gave basic answers and suggested I come in if I want to learn more. When I called WAir, I was absolutely amazed. Rhiannon spent a good 20 minutes on the phone with me telling me about their operations, answering all my questions, and even called me back to follow up on a detail she didn't have a ready answer to. By the end of the call, I was pretty sure I found my new school, and got scheduled with an instructor. Francis is an amazing instructor that takes the time to make sure his students truly understand, and not just remember the material, whether it’s ground knowledge or stick and rudder skills. On a number of occasions he’d discuss a topic I felt I had a solid grasp on, and I’d walk out realizing that only after our conversation did I truly understand it. I am sure these lessons will stick with me throughout my flying career, and will make me a better, safer pilot. While most of my training at WAir was with Francis, my interactions with the other instructors made it very clear that WAir trains and holds all their instructors to a very high standard. While every instructor has their own personal style, it is very clear they are teaching from the same principles, something which I had not found to be true at other schools. That consistent, structured approach to the syllabus did not mean that they were rigid. In fact, I experienced quite the opposite. From day one, Francis and WAir worked with me to structure the lessons to my needs, making sure I didn’t have to start from scratch after switching schools. They of course made sure that my knowledge and skills were up to the high standards of their syllabus, and helped shore up some gaps, but I did not for a minute feel like I had to start from the beginning and go through all the motions of being a new student just because I did not start with them. As I approached my check ride, they made sure that I had priority scheduling for planes and instructors, helped work out logistics with the DPE and really helped reduce the stress and worry so I could focus on giving my best performance during the check ride. I am now a proud holder of a Private Pilot Land certificate, and will continue working with WAir towards an instrument rating, and beyond. I highly recommend WAir, check them out, you will not be disappointed!"

"The moment I stepped foot into Air, I knew what I was getting myself into. After transferring to WAir from a separate flight school and had previously known some of their employees, I knew what I was getting myself into and there's a reason why I went to them. My instructor was Francis and he was a fantastic person as well as instructor. He knew the ins and outs of all the procedures, policies, and the aircraft itself. While flight training is supposed to be serious, he did a good job keeping to fun and light at the same time. Their "Stage" system is implemented well into their training. Stewart does a really good job on stage checks to make sure we are prepared for the next step. Like I've heard before, if you can pass a stage check with Stewart you are most definitely ready. The WAir team was able to prioritize my training because I had a college deadline at the end of this summer. With the help of the team, I was able to complete my Private Pilot's License with them. I would recommend anyone to come to WAir and meet their friendly staff members and extraordinary flight training."

"I recently had the pleasure of joining WAir Aviation to go through flight training. From the moment I walked through the door, I was impressed by the professionalism and organization of the staff. The instructors were all highly knowledgeable and skilled pilots, with a wealth of experience in both aviation and teaching. They were patient and thorough in their explanations, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that I fully understood the material. The facilities were top-notch, with well-maintained aircraft and the Redbird state-of-the-art simulator that provided an immersive and realistic training environment. The multi-phase curriculum was comprehensive and covered all the necessary topics in a logical and engaging manner. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience at WAir. It was clear that a great deal of care and attention to detail had gone into every aspect of the program, and I feel confident that I received the best possible training. I highly recommend WAir Aviation to anyone looking to fulfill their aviation ambitions!"
