Academy Bank

"All the tellers are nice but the lack of atms in the area is ridiculous. No drive up atms. And they charge you $4 on top of the other banks atm fee for using other atms. It's a pain to the disabled!"

"People here are not friendly at all. I only come to this location because the one by my house closed. We recently opened a new account at a different bank due to the lack of experience and friendliness at this location. I am standing in line now and have been for 20 min and not 1 time has the clerk looked up and said sorry for your wait! I totally understand why these banks are going out of bussiness!"

"Academy bank always has timely transfers on the mobile app, the staff at the Fenton location is phenomenal. Kadesh/kinesh is a solid manager. This bank calls and verifies every wire transfer and is on top in regards to fraud prevention."

"I called to get some assistance with my account because I noticed that there was money missing from my savings after I had digitally deposited a check. The lady I spoke to wasn't listening to my concerns and she kept on talking about how the check is pending and I wasn't worried about the check, I was worried about the fact that MONEY WAS TAKEN OUT OF MY SAVINGS. Instead of looking into what happened she gets frustrated with me and basically says that I'm not letting her help me and gives me the customer service number. Thankfully, the gentleman I spoke to through customer service was able to look into what happened and figured out that Academy Bank had mistakenly taken out the amount that was supposed to be deposited into my savings and they're in the process of fixing it. Maybe I shouldn't have been so frantic when I spoke to the lady but honestly I would like to see how she would react if she were in my shoes."

I have been with academy now for years due to how well they treat their clients, but I live over 45 minutes away now and I refuse to go anywhere other than the Fenton location. There is good reason for that, the wonderful people who work here dedicate so much compassion to their job that it makes every experience a wonderful one. This is Academy Bank’s number 1 location in my mind and there is no close second. Everyone who works here deserves endless praise."
