"I work as a teacher in the Rock Island school district so I have a someone unique view from the inside. That being said, Moline school district is forcing kids into a bi lingual classroom to meet requirements of having an ELL department without actually having a department. My son went to this school for one year and was forced into one of these classes due to being registered after the year started. He basically only received half a year education due to his class speaking in only Spanish the second half of the day and him obviously not knowing a word of it. Which is made worse that he's just learning to read English, and now they are just confusing him with trying to learn Spanish also. The principal has a very bad attitude and talks down to quite a few parents. Overall if you want your child to learn in both languages or they already can I'm sure it's great, if not good luck."
