"I have known both Dr Spomenka and Dr Bruno for many years. They are both wonderful doctors, but this review is more specifically for Dr Spomenka. As a fellow professional, I have met many of her patients, and patients speak passionately about her devoted care, and follow her forever: multiple siblings over decades, sometimes even into the next generation. So when I had my little ones, I would have no one else for their pediatrician. She took care of my 6 and 8 yr olds from birth. When my son was a year old, she referred him for testing. Long story short, both he and my 6 year old were diagnosed with autism literally YEARS after Dr. Spomenka diagnosed them. She is hands down the most intuitive doctor I have ever met. It took about 15 psychologists, speech pathologists, and psychiatrists and multiple full psych evaluations for anyone else to diagnose them. It took Dr Spomenka literally 5 minutes to diagnose my high-functioning daughter. Her treatment was delayed a year because the first psychologist didn’t catch it, and then I had to fight to get a repeat eval. As a psychiatrist myself, I watched professionals hem and haw, and hesitate to say more than “I’m not sure. Maybe a second evaluation would be helpful.” My son’s diagnosis was delayed about 3 years! Dr Spomenka is plain spoken and very direct. If you don’t want to hear the truth and get the very best clinical care for your child, then go see someone more gentle who will delay your kids’ treatment when it’s really needed. Ask her to tell you a story about the baby whose life she saved one Christmas. She probably has a thousand other stories like that— because our children are more than just a job or career to her, they are her life and her passion. By the way, the “Mike” who left a one star review above is my ex-husband. He has a personal vendetta against Dr Spomenka because he is one of those parents who didn’t want to hear the diagnosis that eventually all the professionals agreed upon. As a medical professional, all I care about is getting quality care, and knowing what needs to be treated to get the earliest possible intervention."

"I have been coming here since I was 6 years old! I am now 20! I would never go to any other doctor, only Dr.Spominka! The office is always clean, she always knows what she’s talking about and truly cares about her patients! When I have we will only come here."

"BEWARE!!! My daughter went for an annual checkup and because the doc asked if there was anything else they charged me a co payment when I stated she snores. Ok fine I’ll pay 20 dollars which I wasn’t aware they charged u til months later. Ok some doctors have a little more integrity and I know not to mention anything during a wellness. Fine! I paid! A week later they still said I owe so I paid again since I didn’t see the check clearing in my account. A week goes by and they cashed both checks. It’s been almost two months of me calling them and my insurance calling them to get my refund. Their billing center is full of rude people that hung up on my insurance rep and they continue to tell me they will call me back and never do. I will now be seeking to report them to BBB. They should’ve charged a copay before I left the office."

"It’s really sad. When I first started going there I really liked the DR. But now if you would like to get yelled at for making a personal choice that she thinks is wrong she will let you know. And please if you and your family do any kind of hunting do not talk about it with her. She had my son in tears today because she told him that he was torturing fish because he goes fishing. She did not even look at him today. If it was not for her nurse who checked his vitals he would not have even been checked over today. I guess we both left in tears today. What a horrible experience."
