"I received care during a visit from Lee Stockton at Dr. Heather Hamilton's office. Overall, I felt like Ms. Stockton did not listen to me and my reasoning for making a doctor's appointment. She ended up prescribing me two medications that I did not want or ask for, including one that was dangerous for me to take after consulting with my psychiatrist. She prescribed me a very strong anti depressant that helps you sleep. I told her I had medication for that already and she was not listening nor did she care. The medication I requested (a noncontrolled substance for nausea and vomiting, which I have been taking for my autoimmune disease AND mental health issues over the last 12 years)...she only wrote me a total of nine pills, which wasn't enough to get through to my next specialist appointment. I got the impression that my needs were being set aside and I was being treated as a dollar amount. It was disappointing. I made a complaint to Memorial Hermann, but they never reached out to me. I ended up going to a different doctor's office and receiving much better care and results. Because of this, I am changing my primary care physician."
