For heart surgery, he not only kept in touch with the hem/onc there, he spoke to my Aunt in North Carolina and her doctor at Duke concerning her blood disorder. And when my family doctor did blood tests he kept up with my platelet count and other blood components. Whenever I have seen him out people are always coming up and shaking his hand and thanking him.
