"Would Give Zero Stars I had the unfortunate experience of working with Donna as my court-appointed mediator, and I must say it was a highly disappointing and frustrating ordeal. Donna told me Lake Zurich was the second “Whitest Place next to Lake Forest”, which is not only ignorant but FALSE! What she was suggesting is that because my children are biracial they are better off in Gurnee School District where my ex wife rents, as opposed to Lake Zurich where I own a house. Donna also asked, “What is your ex wife, and what is your girlfriend” Donna should keep her racial stereotypes out of family mediation, and educate herself on the details of Brown vs The Board of Education before interjecting her bigotry into family mediation. Donna displayed a clear bias throughout our interactions, which left me feeling unfairly treated. She made numerous assumptions without seeking to understand my perspective, which I found to be unprofessional and counterproductive. One of the most concerning aspects of our mediation was Donna's lack of preparation. It was evident that she had not thoroughly reviewed the documented evidence of my actions, such as providing advanced notice to my ex-wife about our children's activities through the OFW communication app. Her ignorance of this information was perplexing, and it made her lecture on this matter appear quite foolish. Given that both Donna and my ex-wife are Licensed Social Workers (LSWs), it was apparent that Donna showed a heavy favoritism towards my ex. This further reinforced the perception of bias and unprofessional conduct. Her supposed duty to report child abuse was not taken seriously, casting doubt on her commitment to the welfare of children involved in these cases. Adding insult to injury, Donna's services came at a significant cost, which I can only describe as an expensive money grab. The time I spent in mediation with her felt like a complete waste of time and resources. In conclusion, Donna's mediation services were nothing short of a sham, and I would strongly discourage anyone from seeking her assistance in such matters."
