"Unfortunately, after something like fifteen years of being a patient here, I can no longer recommend this practice. The doctors are as good as always, or I can only assume they are because I was unable to make an appointment. This office has recently merged with UT medical or something like that, and existing patients have not been migrated over to their new system. So, after fifteen years, I no longer exist in their computer, and to make an appointment I had to give all my personal information over the phone so that I could be re-entered as a new patient. I could accept this if not for that, right at the tail end of me giving all of this information, the receptionist asked if I had insurance and if I had the insurance information with me. I responded that I did not -- I left my wallet on my desk at the office and I was outside placing the call. She said that she was unable to schedule the appointment without insurance information. Wait, seriously? Do they only take patients with insurance, or what? I was told that I could call back with my insurance information and someone would finish setting me up and making my appointment. I say to that: Fat chance. It takes a lot to get me to write a negative review, but Bellaire Family just lost a long-time patient. I don't have time for this level of frustration when just trying to make a simple appointment. After fifteen years, I'm taking my money (and my insurance money) elsewhere."
