"Really fun tour of the replica Gokstad ship that was at the 1893 Worlds Fair. I would have had no idea it was there if I hadn't heard about it on the Chicago Detours Virtual Worlds Fair tours. Not only are the guides knowledgeable, they know the stories and the "why" behind every feature of the ship and the journey. I was very impressed and told all my friends they should check it out!"
"With interesting sights, story and wonderful staff, my family enjoyed the experience at the Viking Ship. I highly recommend and look forward to revisiting."
"It was a very interesting visit. This is an amazing story not only about the ship, but about the journey of this amazing piece of history. An admirable labor of love, from the people that rescued the ship and now take care of it and share their time, knowledge and stories with visitors. We felt so happy after visiting, it is a unique location, a different experience and a refreshing approach to Naval history. Don’t miss this opportunity!"
""May she always remain a monument of the Worlds Fair of 1893" Perfect afternoon, my friend surprised me by taking me to the Viking Ship. The tour guides all named David (LOL) were extremely knowledgeable. I will go back, thank you...."
"This is a wonderful exhibit that is a rare treat to find. The guides give a great tutorial of Viking life and the history of the ship."
