"The Fabyan windmill is a beautiful place with a lot of interesting history. I definitely recommend going when it's open for tours so you can see all of the machinery and craftsmanship inside. It's run by volunteers and they're all friendly and enthusiastic."

"I visited Fabyan windmill with my plein air art group. Artists from the Dupage Art league gathered and all painted, drew, sketched the beautiful surroundings. There is a beautiful windmill on the grounds, a Japanese garden, a river with a bridge, There was a local group of bicycleists biking through the trails at the time. A coach working out with his team. People walking their dogs. What a beautiful day and what a beautiful spot to paint have a picnic or just visit. There isn't any charge there is plenty of parking and very clean bathrooms. I will definitely visit again and again. Enjoy!"

"Beautiful low crowded place that has history and natural beauty. A Japanese garden with beautiful surroundings, a free flowing river , historic Fabyan windmill and lush green nature are a treat. Seems like pet friendly and for kids they have good space to play around. Overall a feel good place and calming vibes."
