"My husband & I are senior citizens and this is the first PCP that has never acted rushed or in a hurry with us. She takes her time with us, explains things in a way we can understand, and answers all our questions. She is very pleasant and personable. She is extremely thorough and getting in to see her as needed has never been an issue. I use the patient portal online to schedule appointments and have prescriptions renewed. The portal is so much more convenient for me than talking to someone on the phone. Overall, our experience with Dr. Martinez and her medical assistant has far exceeded our expectations."

"Worst PCP experience of my life!!!! This PCP refuses to see her patients herself and makes her nurses do all her work for her. The Nurses have pisspoor attitudes and even answering your phone call is an inconvenience to their day and they’re going to make sure you know that, cut you off mid sentence and hang up on you. This office can’t even maintain something as simple and routine as Birth Control. Don’t waste your time with this group. I only have to see them four times a year and I dread the day worse than a tax appointment or dental visit. You’d think working under such a reputable name as “Houston Methodist” that they’d be held to a higher standard but it’s obvious that it’s gone to their head instead. They do not care about their patients and make that well known."

"Dr. Martinez may be a good doctor but her office sucks. No wheelchair access by door, entry is difficult for wheelchairs because of threshold in doorway. Appointment was for 10:00am and after we arrived at 9:50am we received a text message at 10:15am the appointment was rescheduled for 11:15! They finally called us back at 11:28! We had to sit and wait for over an hour! Unexcusable! Several times they have needed to reschedule or cancel appointments and trying to call the office and actually speak to someone is impossible. You have to leave a message and hope they call back."
