"This place is terrible, if I could give Prime Care zero stars I definitely would!! I followed PA Renee Dodd here several years ago because I really liked her as my PCP. Last fall I had a sinus infection and tried to make an appointment and was told she was booked for months and furthermore no other doctor could see me for two months...they recommended I go to an urgent care facility. If I wanted to go to an urgent care facility I wouldn't have a PCP!!! And by the way, this was not the first, second or third time I was unable to get an appointment with any of the doctors there when I have been ill. In March I booked my annual physical with Renee Dodd. I was hoping I could get in sometime in May but was told she was booked until July. I made the appointment for the beginning of July. Last Friday they called to inform me that I would have to reschedule because she had a conflict/wouldn't be in the office that day. I guess she wanted to go on vacation!! I was told I couldn't reschedule until August. When I tell you my summer plans had been made around this appointment that I had made FOUR months earlier, I am not exaggerating!!!! I told them forget it, I am tired of being treated this way and NO doctor or PA is worth this hassle!!! I called Village Medical and was able to get an appointment for my physical at the beginning of July!! It was so nice to call and get an appointment so quickly!! Prime Care you need to make some major organizational changes or more patients like myself will realize there are much better medical offices out there. Also I noticed when you answer a review on here you are using a standard response...can you get any more impersonal??!! Potential patients do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!"

"It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone on phone when calling for an appointment at the Katy location. I called and have left messages for someone to return my call in order to make an appointment but no one ever calls me back. I have been leaving messages since Friday October 21 and no callback. Dr. Medrano is very good BUT can't ever get an appointment. Guess I will have to change practices."

"I have a good doctor but cannot get appointments with him unless it's over a month out. When you are unwell or in pain, that is when you need to be able to see your doctor soon. The appointment desk is a big part of the issue here. The way they operate is not to the level of a quality company. Very sub-par. Messages left to try and get appointments go unanswered. There is not even an effort to try and get you in when there are cancellations or no-shows. Terse and even borderline rude. No empathy whatsoever. Covid or social distancing are given as reasons for the long wait times. But the wait times were not this bad a year ago when the Covid situation was worse. I hope the doctors are aware of the low ratings Prime Care has on sites with reviews. I advise patients to go elsewhere. When sufficient people leave, change will hopefully come."

"I visited Dr. Medrano here today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how kind and friendly the staff treated me. Michelle at the front desk was pleasant and super friendly. All the staff I interacted with was similar in this. Yes it's a large office and it took me sometime to get the appointment and although Dr. M didn't have a whole lot of time, I did feel as if he met my needs. I am happy to have found a doctor with his bedside manner. I left the office today feeling as if they were actually happy to have me as patient. Highly Recommend!"

"I would not recommend this place to anybody. I made an 11:30 appointment for my very first visit to see Dr Gadgil who came highly recommended. I called while looking at my work calendar. I had a conference call at 10am, so they offered me 11:30. I agreed and put it on the calendar. I showed up today at around 11:10, early, with new patient paperwork in hand and filled out. They put me down for the 10am appointment and not the 11:30 like I said. They refused to see me. Extremely frustrating but it could be a blessing too. A doctor's office that cannot handle a simple appointment will most likely bungle prescriptions, lab results, etc. Back to Google to find a new doctor!"
