"Someone needs to keep the Google hours for this place updated. Both the Visitors Center and the Laborers House were locked up this afternoon, Saturday 29 July 2023, when I arrived at about 1:30pm. The St. Louis County website for Jefferson Barracks said that the Visitors Center was "temporarily closed", but there was nothing on that site about closure of the Laborers House. Disappointed and can't trust posted hours to even try for a future visit."

"The facility is good, but a little dated. The man running the gift shop was nice and we talked about the park for a little bit and the author of one of the books that I bought while I was there. Apparently this used to be stables and then a tank repair shop along with a couple of other things before it was turned into the park's Visitors Center."
