"There is so much rich history and artifacts housed in this museum. Lots to look at and the ladies in attendance had many interesting stories about the history of Arnold. You must call ahead to schedule an appointment but it's well worth it!"

"I highly recommend visiting Arnold Historical Society's Museum! I like anything to do with history, but my love of historical buildings is what brought me to Arnold Historical Society for the first time, and they did not disappoint! They have a museum full of pictures of old houses, long since torn down. The staff directed me to a few that are still standing in Arnold, in case I wanted to drive by them to get a look. The volunteers at the museum were very knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions regarding the history of Arnold. If you take a tour of the museum, which you definitely should do, I recommend asking the staff about the exhibits and photographs inside. A few members of Arnold Historical Society have been around since before the city of Arnold was incorporated, and have watched the city grow from basically just farmland, to what it is now: a suburban city, and can share some great stories. Arnold Historical Society and their members also tend the oldest cemetery in the city of Arnold, Richardson Cemetery, which is not far from the museum and definitely worth driving a few miles over there to have a look around."

"Lots of interesting Arnold History in this place. Organised according to room . Kitchen, bedroom, bathroom etc. Wonderful docent. Totally worth checking out. I'm from Detroit and this is one of the best small town history museums I've had the pleasure to visit!"

"The new location is really nice, with six rooms representing the six original townships that now make up Arnold. LOTS of artifacts. Check out the larger and more outdoor items in the lower level. We held a historical trivia treasure hunt party there in the Spring, and the couple-teams had a blast. Great for kids (over maybe 8?) and adults."
