"We just held my daughter's wedding here (October 8, 2023) and I tell you without a doubt that it was the best decision ever to do so. The venue obviously is gorgeous, and it is run perfectly by Ruth and her team. (The negative reviews of Ruth and her team must be from people who want to treat the place like it’s their personal playground or something? She was never rude with us, only direct about what can and can’t happen to keep guests safe, and advice on what can and can't work. If she had to cater to each request and idea from multiple people, nothing would get planned.) We put our faith in her experience and not one issue came up during the wedding. Everything was scheduled with nothing missed. Just follow the rules of the place and you’ll have a well-planned event. The Bridal Suite and Grooms Quarters were fantastic for our family and friends to get ready in. The courtyard was a great place for people to mingle when away from the music inside Sycamore Hall. We got so many compliments on how things were run, how much fun everyone had and at the end of the night, we were so happy how everything turned out. Would highly recommend this place for your wedding."

"We knew from the moment we stepped on property, that Stone House of St. Charles was a special place. It was charming and beautiful and it fit the antique and rustic vibe we were looking for. On the website it says you can text the owner, Ruth, and she really does get back with you any day, all hours. We decided to have a very quick engagement and we knew Ruth could get it done for us. She is always available for questions and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about vendors. Her team was very professional, organized and takes care of everything for you on the day of. They have an entire decor closet we pulled the majority of our decorations from which was so amazing! Everything went flawlessly and we have Ruth and her team to thank. We would recommend this venue to anyone."

"The Stone House of St. Charles is a beautiful venue! All of our guests are still talking about how perfect and beautiful everything was. We have Ruth to thank for how perfect our day was! She is amazing to work with and truly knows everything you need. We got married at a church and had our reception at Stone House of St. Charles and Ruth was sweet enough to give us some tips for our ceremony, such as the traditional and non traditional order of family walking down the aisle and how the groomsmen and bridesmaids should position their hands. It was so kind of her to discuss these things with us because we wouldn’t have known if we didn’t talk to her. We also were still able to get ready at the Stone House and it was the perfect place to start the day. It is absolutely gorgeous! Our hair and makeup stylists were also so pleased because they already had salon chairs and LED light mirrors in one of the rooms. Stone House also sets up and takes everything down after the ceremony and reception! Not to mention… they also have their own decorations you can use. I mean who else does that?! This made the day SO SO much easier. They also have an amazing DJ. One of my top priorities for the day was that the dance floor would never be empty and it definitely wasn’t because of how amazing the DJ was! We are truly so grateful for Ruth, Mike, and all of the workers at Stone House of St. Charles because thanks to them we had the perfect wedding day and all of our family and friends had an amazing time too!"

"We held our daughter's wedding at Stone House of St. Charles and it was PERFECT~the most beautiful venue!! Ruth was very organized and made sure everything was on point for her most special day! We loved the Sycamore Hall, Bridal Stone Cottage and Grooms Quarters, all provided STUNNING Photos and kept us all close! Like our own little town for the day! DJ was included and he was EXCELLENT! Best wedding and reception EVER! HIGHLY RECOMMEND to have your entire Wedding Day at Stone House of St. Charles!!!!! 10++++"
