"This hospital care response is poor , the doctors and nurses have no sense of empathy or urgency to your health needs. The process and system of this hospital shows that providing care is just a piece of task . The wait period to see your primary care physician is insanely long . Too many patients and less equipped and staff . Rules and regulations of receiving care make no sense"

"Had an MRI done here this past Thursday in the afternoon. It was my first time here. Plenty of parking and check in was easy. I was seen promptly and the technician was very nice. He made sure I was comfortable and offered to play music for me during the MRI. The scan was less than 20 minutes. Overall a good experience!"

"I went to UT Health and asked for work limitations note from the Doctors for a condition I am recieving treatment for. I tranferred my medical records and asked for a simple Doctors Note as I continue my treatment.H e did give me a note but it was just progress notes of the visit, which was fustrating and not what I asked for. Dr. John Paredes failed to listen to my request and needs and brushed me off to another Doctor. Additionally, UT Health office called me and requested I come in an hour early from my scheduled appointment. I accommodated their request and they asked me to bring my documents. However, when I asked for some basic things to be reviewed the Doctor was reluctant to even review my chart or talk to me and just stated I can't help you. I will refer you. My view is what is the point of being a Doctor if you cant even help your patient. It felt like he had something more important and he was trying to rush me out rather than listening to my needs. This is concerning because for a patient you should listen to them rather than brush them off. At the end of the day, UT Health is business and they underperformed at this visit which made me lose my confidence. Lastly, this was a complete waist of my time and money and it's fustrating that he has that behavior towards his patients. I have lost my trust and confidence in UT Health and will never return to this facility. I would not recommend this facility to anyone."

"My PCP is here, she sent me to be seen by a hepatologist at a different location, her assistant gave me the wrong phone number twice, after three phone calls to the wrong place someone at UHS finally helped me figure out I was to go to the Texas Liver Institute all the way downtown. After seeing me the MD there ordered bimonthly bloodwork here, but I’ve been here twice already and they can’t pull the lab order b/c it was placed in the UHS system. Why is UT Health not able to pull UHS lab orders? I don’t know and I don’t care, but you’re getting this one-star review because of that."
