"Jennifer Kelleher and team at Birth Experience Midwifery Care are incredibly knowledgeable, super efficient, truly compassionate, and represent all of what a supportive caregiver should be. You are not just another number to be seen—unlike any medical care I have ever received. She genuinely cares about you and your baby’s health; it’s easy to tell BEMC is purpose lead. She answers all your questions, presents both what hospital care would like at that specific visit, and other options available, leaving it up to my discretion. I loved that she gave full informed consent— benefits, risks, and alternatives to care. She delivered my second (healthy and happy!) baby comfortably in my own home, on my own turf- not to be rushed, poked or prodded. But encouraged and lovingly taken through the miraculous way of birth. It was a surreal and spiritual experience that I will be forever grateful for. I cannot say the same about my previous all natural no med/intervention hospital birth for baby number one.. If we have any more, I will definitely be using her again! "We had the honor of experiencing a V-BAC home birth with Jennifer as our midwife in 2012. With Jennifer's knowledge, encouragement and the process of allowing my body to do the work it needed to, I was empowered as a woman and mother beyond belief. When I became pregnant with our third child almost six years later, I knew that I did not want anyone other than Jennifer taking care of us. From day one, Jennifer was careful to cover all aspects of prenatal care including blood work and help with setting up ultrasound appointments if desired. Each of our visits were un-rushed and educational. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable about everything pregnancy related, but intuitively would ask me questions regarding my life with my other children, our family business, and my fears and feelings about a new addition to our family. I always felt supported and reassured after each visit. Jennifer was easy to communicate with in and out of the office. Jennifer was our rock during labor and our son's birth. She provided words of encouragement and wise guidance to prevent any injuries during delivery. My husband got to catch our son and our 8 and 6 year old got to witness his birth. Upon our request, Jennifer even educated our daughters on the placenta and umbilical cord at 3:00am! We felt at peace and able to relax after our son's birth, knowing that Jennifer was taking care of all the details that need to be attended to as well as monitoring the health of mother and baby post birth. All of us are better off for the wonderful experience we had with Jennifer at Birth Experience Midwifery Care."
