"This college is the only thing that stands between me and being forced into the military. May the cougar allow me to reach my dreams."

"The two idiots at the front desk of the student success center are the worst. You ask them a simple question and they act like they don't hear you. I got one girl who is “typing” on her computer when it’s obvious you are not. Especially when your fingers don’t even hit the keys. Then the other one is shoving so much of her salad in her face you can barely have a conversation with her. If you want to talk to some characters literally out of a movie go here. Otherwise save yourself and go somewhere else. Lord knows homegirl with the salad needs it."

"It may be cheaper to take classes here but honestly only a few professors were great and made the experience better. Some of the professors here are horrible at their job or don't care to see you succeed. They sometimes scam students too with making us buy textbooks that we barely use or aren't useful. There are limited resources at this college and its a hit or miss with classes. I've seen many students fail or drop out due to the professors teaching style or grading. Even the department doesn't care because they think its wrong if too may students have A's in a class and now are starting to make people take exams in person because of it. Like seriously what's wrong with students succeeding if they actually know what they are doing? They try to make it harder for us on purpose and don't care if many students fail even if it is the professors fault. The staff was never really a problem but the counselors I spoke too did not know what they were talking about when I needed help transferring to A&M. So there are many issues with Collin College."

"Calling to ask for help regarding anything that requires them to put forth effort on their end is a quick way to have your day ruined. Community college can be done anywhere but here. Unhelpful from the start."

"It’s obvious this place has terrible management that trickles down. I’ve never seen a college with some many unhelpful, hateful staff. My kid paid for transcripts to be sent and they keep fighting and will not send the already paid for transcripts. I have no idea what everyone’s issue is there, but go to school elsewhere, where the staff is helpful not a hindrance to your child’s education. College is already a tough battleground with kids being mean to each other. Who needs the staff adding on to the stress because they simply can’t or refuse to do their job."
