"Our server was excellent for the valentines dinner Thursday night! We loved hearing the wine back stories and she was overall just so friendly and admirable. We enjoyed the entire menu except the venison. The lobster and fois Gras were our favorites and we will definitely be back! Perfect atmosphere for date night."

"An excellent experience. Went into North Pond for a dual birthday celebration and the attention to detail was superb. The flavors in the dishes were explosive, complicated, and cohesive. The atmosphere was cozy without trying to hard to be cool or edgy, which can often be the case at higher-end dining establishments. I would certainly recommend North Pond!"

"North Pond restaurant is the perfect spot for a romantic date night, but be sure to make advance reservations to secure your table. We were impressed by the beautifully presented three-course meals, each dish a work of art in itself. The food was not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant is delightful, and its location in the heart of Lincoln Park adds to its charm. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place to others. It's worth noting that the prices are on the higher side, with a minimum cost of approximately $150 per person for dinner. Make sure u plan for parking which would take another 15 mins"

"Visited for our wedding anniversary. It was where we had our first date in 2001. The restaurant used to be à la carte. They now feature a 4 course taking menu. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted and the woman at the host stand was nice enough to snap a couple photos. The restaurant overlooks a pond and beyond the pond is the Chicago skyline. Our server, Jeff was professional, friendly and attentive. I ordered a classic old fashioned which was delicious. The amuse bouche was impressive. All the courses were well-paced, unique and bursting with flavor. They grow many of their ingredients on their rooftop garden Overall, I'd say our return after many years exceeded my expectations. There is free parking on Cannon Drive."

"Beautiful place with just about average food. Located on the northern tip of the beautiful north pond, it's an absolutely gorgeous place. The service and overall atmosphere of this place is very nice. Coming to the food, we were here for the Sunday brunch and all the dishes felt like 'experiments in progress'. The chef has made an attempt to amalgamate several flavour profiles into a singular dish but it all seems like a very adventurous mix that will hopefully be titrated to perfection in the future. We got the ceviche and Gumbo for the first course. Broccoli and Beef, pork for the second and bread pudding and chocolate mousse as our dessert. Overall, the food left us with lots to be desired in terms of how it feels on the taste buds and olfaction. Hope the culinary creations served here improve as I would love to dine here for the incredible location this is."
