"So far I haven’t had the best luck finding a caring gynecologist, that I would feel comfortable with, so I was skeptical, but my visit with Dr. Irma Sodini was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had visiting Advocate Medical Group. She was very professional, yet extremely warm and nice. Unlike with previous doctors, my visit didn’t feel rushed at all, she went over every little detail in my medical history, asked many questions and made sure I got all the answers to questions that I had. "If I could give 0 stars, I ABSOLUTELY would! On top of being charged $900 for a genetic test that WAS NOT asked for, she was dismissive and rude throughout the appointment. When asked about the $900 charge, she simply said that "the test was already done and just to pay it." I'm sorry, but not everyone has an extra $900 laying around, that was the whole point of declining the test in the first place! Being our first pregnancy, this doctor took the joy out of what was supposed to be the happiest time in our life. This doctor clearly doesn't care about her patients. If you want to experience a happy, stress-free pregnancy, do yourself a BIG favor and find another doctor."

"I have been with Dr. Sodini for 10 years. She has been with me through 3 pregnancies and 3 deliveries. No better obgyn out there. She is kind to the core. She set me up with my kids first pediatrician and called to check on me the morning after my c section. She also supported me when I wanted to have a v back. She truly advocates for women's health."

"Dr. Sodini was the worst experience with a physician that I have ever had. This was my second appointment with her, the first in 2018, for an annual physical. I felt awkward during my initial encounter because she was dismissive and made me feel so disrespected with the faces she made every time I asked a question. That being said, I wanted to give her another chance, so I went in for an appointment on 7/18/2019. I booked this appointment in the end of May and had to wait a month and half to see her. My appointment was scheduled for 2:45pm, I was there by 2:30pm, i was taken in at 2:50. A nurse came and told me to put the examination gown and left, I waited for over 40 minutes and no one came to check on me. Finally I left the room almost naked asking what the delay was, no one has been to my room with an update. That was when a nurse was completely rude and gave me the worst attitude. Finally Dr. Sodini came in by 3:40, almost an hour later, to my examination room. I told her what happened and she said, "I'll ask you to be nicer to my staff." I was surprised by the lack of compassion, after waiting an hour her response was "I've been with patients with harder and more difficult conditions." Which belittled me as a patient and made my time seem worthless to her. After the initial disrespectful interaction, I proceeded with my appointment, the experience with her was no better. Every time I had a question she seemed upset that I was even bringing the subject matter up. I went in for an IUD consultation, so i had questions in order to be fully informed patient, she rushed me and basically ran out of the room within 15 mins. The lack of punctuality and professionalism was unbelievable, to then have the physician insult me on top of it. I would never return to this office and I would never recommend this physician to anyone. Our health is so important to be treated so poorly by a physician who seemed so indifferent about my time and well being."
