"A great obgyn. Dr. Atkinson was my obgyn during my recent and final pregnancy that ended up being high risk due to Cholestasis. Dr. Atkinson even checked up on me after my tubal ligation after delivery during my postpartum recovery make sure I was recovering well and my scar healed. She has a friendly upbeat personality and easy to talk to. She listens to your concerns and finds ways to resolve them. If I had any questions or concerns she was easy to get ahold of. I recommend her."

"I never seen the attending till day 3 of my stay and at that point I was ready to be discharged due to my test results. I was seen by her residents. She wanted to keep me overnight just to take oral meds that doesn't require a skilled clinician. I spent over 24 extra hours in the hospital with the same outcome of medical treatment but an additional day of bills!. She didn't want to sign my DC after her residents came to my room at 7am till the lunch hour. I had to explain that my vitals were steady, and no need to keep me. I wanted to give my bed to a person with more severe medical needs. This is a primary example of how insurance fraud is happening everyday. I couldn't leave AMA because she stated my insurance wouldn't pay and I would be left with the bill. She did say, no one is preventing you from leaving...really??? Who wants a hospital bill when they have insurance! Her medical reasoning kept changing for wanting to keep me and in my professional opinion as an occupational therapist, was not justified. After the scan came back with postive response from antibiotics, no procedures were performed and no IV fluids were given. I was even given my antibiotics prescription so naturally I think I should have been discharged and not monitored for reactions to oral meds. When people have reactions, the MD usually try another prescription but your alreadydischargedat home. I see how millions of healthcare dollars are misused personally now that I was the patient."
