"I loved the staff and how attentive and helpful they were. However, I was unfortunately misdiagnosed with barotrauma and was not prescribed anything. They recommended nasal spray and pain meds. When I later visited a local Urgent Care, they diagnosed me with a double ear infection with possible damage to left eardrum. Two very different outcomes."
"I took my daughter to the ER. The nurses and staff were great and the hospital was clean. We experienced wonderful care and I will definitely go back again if there are any medical emergencies with myself or family members in the future."
"I had the worst experience here. Brought my son who fell and sprained his hand at school, he is on the spectrum and is very scared of doctors but I chose this hospital because it said “children’s ER” and somehow I thought that meant they had more experience with children and would have patience for a child on the spectrum. Boy was I wrong , I had a radiology tech handle my son soooo rough , she has no patience and was completely unprofessional! I will never return here ! I advise you to go elsewhere if you have a child on the spectrum. The doctor and 1 other nurse with red curly hair were kind , but other than that I’d rather drive an hour away to Cook Children’s hospital."
"The two stars are for the lovely nurses and staff that checked us in and got us settled- they were gracious and professional. Once the doctor came, I felt like we were on a reality show and it was a practical joke or something. He called me “dude” throughout our visit, told me he didn’t see anything wrong but he’s “not a radiologist”, told my child to sit out of her sport for 4 weeks and when she started to cry he said “well maybe just 2 weeks then.” To say I had zero confidence in the care we received is an understatement. I took her to an Orthopedic doc the next morning and she had a fractured wrist and is in a cast for a month. This ER visit was a total waste of time and money."
