"WORST of the WORST!!! DO NOT USE TIM LONG PLUMBING!!! THEY DO NOT DO SERVICE CALLS! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Evelyn and Vanessa are RUDE and incompetent office managers. They hang up on you and will not let you talk to anyone else. We were just trying to schedule a service call to our property. They would not listen to us or let you speak on the phone. I was also told on the phone they were too busy to pull up our file. USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY!"

"Have used Tim Long Plumbing many times in the past. But got completely price gouged during the recent storm. Did 3-4 hours of work, and used minimal parts, but due to the storm, they asked for a credit number ahead of time, which I was fine with. Then I got charged $3000 (with no advance notice) for something that should have cost $400-600. Completely blew me away. Worst yet, I’ve emailed them and called them multiple times to discuss this issue with no return call whatsoever. Seems like a clear lack of integrity."

"Tim Long Plumbing installed my appliances in my new home. Instead of using a supplied water supply line from the manufacturer, they decided to create a makeshift line with many adapters (which the factory unit did not have). One of the adapters failed, causing a slow leak which destroyed my cabinets and appliances. The manufacturer has verified this was caused by the shoddy installation of a non-recommended supply line. Tim Long has been contacted, and asked to make this right,and no cure was offered."

"Would not recommend this plumbing company. The contractor I used for a pool house remodel will also not use them again. To me, this speaks volumes. Does not stand behind their workmanship. They did not test the washing machine drain. Granted, I did not put a washing machine in the house until 2.5 years later, but the drain was sealed by the plumbers. Warranty only good for 1 year. They did send out a plumber, he could not find out the problem why the drain was not draining, said he hit "something hard". I asked for pictures for proof. He did not "get any". Spoke with numerous other plumbers, they said Tim Long should stand by this problem and workmanship. They said they probably forgot to connect it and left it capped off, also the reason they were not giving me pictures as proof."

"Terrible experience - just requested ta plumber to check if a bathroom faucet could be repaired due to a minor leak, already had a replacement in case it couldn't be fixed. The person took exactly 1 hour to try to fix it and at precisely one hour he said he didn't think he could fix and that he'd put in the replacement which took, literally, 4 minutes. (This way he could charge 1 hour+) However, after he installed the basic & similar replacement he said that this faucet was different than the last one and so I needed to get used to pushing the handles backwards instead of pulling forward to turn the water on! (It is a universal feature that forward = on, back = off, just like right = tight, left = loose!) After I paid him and he left I looked at the bill more closely and realized it didn't match my phone quote so I called just to inquire about it & the faucet handles. Evelyn in the office was very kind but didn't know so had to contact the tech & the owner (why the charges wouldn't be standard didn't make sense) and the standard charges she quoted me didn't match. So after exchanging several calls with Evelyn, it was resolved that they would refund me x amount, however 1 week then 2 went by and I did not receive the refund that they offered, not that I demanded. So I called to follow up yet again and this time the amount changed and they began to argue what the amount was and should be when all I had done was call to follow up on what they told me they were going to do! Needless to say, what should've been a simple transaction turned into a complete headache and one in which I felt ripped off. And I had to schedule another time for the faucet handles to be fixed and they sent the same guy which was completely awkward after it was obvious that he didn't know how to install it correctly (or had just lied to me?!). Here's the reason why I am bothering to write this review: I live in a small town in a rural area and I deliberately chose to A) find a service provider that was a local person, not some big company and B) use someone that had their own name on the business...I took this as someone that was going to do business in a manner that they would be proud to put their name on, that they would be willing to back up what they do because their own name and reputation was at stake. I just wanted to support a local person and was fine paying whatever it cost but to be weaseled with the time and have the work done incorrectly is just ridiculous by any standard. Next time I'll watch a YouTube video and figure out how to do it myself."
