"I decided to give this planet fitness at its new location a five star for multiple reasons. First of all, I had been to the previous location in the shopping center. And it was not a pleasant experience for me. It was too small, the equipment was too close together, and there wasn’t enough equipment. The new location is way bigger and has way more equipment. So it doesn’t appear to ever be full. At first there was an odor that I didn’t care for, as other people have mentioned. But this was a building that sat empty for a long time. And after the first day of going in, I just didn’t smell the smell anymore. And the other reason that I think this facility deserves five stars is because there is a young man that greets you when you come in whose name is Michael. And if Michael doesn’t make your day better, I don’t know what will. His smile lights up the room, and you feel like you have been recognized by Michael when you walk in. I used to work for a very large fitness facility that is very popular, but out of the price range of most people. And one of the requirements to work there, is to be just like MIchael! You are required to be happy, and to project happiness. And the facility I used to work for required this of their staff members in order to bring.more enjoyment to the experience for the members. MIchael deserves a ton of credit for bringing that kind of energy into this Joliet facility. And the other staff is always continually on the floor, checking on things and cleaning, along with working the counter. This new facility was a great investment for planet fitness. And it is leaps and bounds above its previous location.."

"Planet Fitness Joliet has recently moved to a new building which offers a lot more space in the gym. The gym equipment is well-maintained and kept clean. It is also great to see that the cleaning stations and paper towels are readily available throughout the gym. This makes it easy to wipe down the equipment after each use, no matter where you are."

"All Planet Fitness will get 3 Stars until they can enforce how people use the 30 minute workout area. Its an amazing concept. But people just sit there on a machine and mess up the circuit and get mad when you ask them to switch. There is a sign that says "Frequently monitored " But its not."

"This planet fitness is the best one in the area. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, and keeps me coming back more and more. Can’t wait to upgrade my black card. Unfortunately their system was down a couple of days but I will be back! P"

"The new planet fitness at 3128 Voyager Ln is awesome. The gym has plenty of space, equipment and the move was worth it. The gym is super clean and the people are very friendly. Also the worker Amanda has a good personality very up beat and friendly. I tell people it's not the gym you go to that will give you results. No it's the daily hardwork you put in. I recommend this location for people to come and sign up for a tour. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
