"Amarillo MD and Dr. Moore are a top notch outfit that provide a peaceful, sweet, down to earth, family environment. I was actually surprised at how quickly we were seen and attended to. I really cannot overstate the drastic difference of the atmosphere in Amarillo MD vs. the urgent care clinic I walked out of (to go to Amarillo MD). I sat for 45 min with no one else in the waiting room and listened to the staff stand around talking in the hallway. I guess the urgent care didn’t feel any urgency. I had my thumb filleted on a table saw. Within 3 min of sitting down at Amarillo MD, my wound was soaking in a cleansing bath and the sutures were being prepared. The entire staff were warm and welcoming. Dr. Moore was very knowledgeable and proficient in repairing my wound. Dr. Moore and her staff don’t carry that “higher than thou” attitude. They made me feel like I was visiting a friend. I personally don’t like going to medical establishments, and tend to avoid if at all possible. Dr. Moore and her staff have made a substantially good impression on me. This is what medical care should be like. Thank you Dr. Moore for the kindness and care u provided!"

"Amarillo MD has changed my perspective on the Doctor/Patient relationship FOREVER! Before I found Amarillo MD, mine and my family’s health was suffering. There was no form or proactive or preventative care taking place in our home. We suffered through mild sickness just to avoid a crowded waiting room for a five minute consultation with a doctor rushing in, asking a few questions, and prescribing a treatment plan with little to no explanation. I was immediately hooked after my first visit with April, as it lasted close to two hours, while she not only looked into years of my past medical history but also got to know me as a person, and what my health goals were. My toddler experienced the exact same care with Dr. Moore! She took the time to watch her play and interact, as well as throughly examining her at a comfortable pace that didn’t scare my daughter. My family and I will never participate in anything other than a direct primary care practice. We are so thankful for the entire Amarillo MD staff for customizing our family’s healthcare plans and their immediate response when we are sick or have questions."

"Five years ago, I contacted Dr. Moore based on a recommendation from my prenatal care provider, local midwife Silvia Esparza (also amazing). Little did I know how she would transform my expectations for great healthcare! Even before my son was actually born, she would sit with me for as long as I needed, making sure I was informed and educated on my choices for a healthy life for both of us. She even came to my house when my son was first born rather than making me get my newborn out among the city to bring him to her for his earliest visits! Since then, her practice has grown tremendously, for good reason, and that growth has only expanded the amazing care she gives. She has intentionally designed her practice to center the patient, to give us the attention and information we deserve, AND surrounding us with local resources for healthy living.
