"Always accessible, quick and low priced but not because he provides exceptional service. Each of my four items he “repaired” was returned operational but in poorer shape than when I left it with him. It turns out he jerry-rigs the equipment without actually fixing them. The last straw was my wood chipper that would not start. He charged me for a carburetor rebuild but instead just sprayed it with carb cleaner, cut up its air filter and jammed 1/3 of the filter into the carburetor to keep it running. The carburetor was never removed for “rebuilding” or cleaning as evident by the undisturbed dirt around the carburetor fasteners. He then refused to answer several inquiries into this issue and my requests for a replacement air filter for the one he cut up. He also uses old parts but charges for new ones. I cannot recommend his services."

"Though I’ve never posted a review of anything, after my second experience with his incredible service I must share. My generator would not run, and two other large dealerships in Spicewood refused to work on it. He repaired it in less than 90 minutes at a very reasonable price. Yesterday, I brought him a water pump that would not start, He called me 45 minutes after I dropped it off to say it was fixed and ready, again at a very reasonable price. Where else in the world today can you expect same day service at a reasonable price? SLEP will do ALL of my small engine repairs in the future."
"I was having a difficult time in finding someone to fix my power washer. A couple of places didn’t even return my call. I called Spicewood Lawn Equipment Repair and left a message. He returned my call within a few minutes and told me to bring it out to him. I did and he called me back saying it was finished in about 2 hrs. That is fast service. His pricing on the repair was reasonable, as well. I am extremely happy with the entire experience."
