He processes everything with you and explains each medication before he prescribes it. He is wonderful at leveling with you and having a conversation far past just prescribing medicine. It is easy to see that he is sincere and cares for his patients, not just someone who wants to prescribe you a medicine and rush you out the door."
"I saw Aaron Peterson for over a decade. He prescribed me Xanax for years. He cut me off completely, and I suffered seizures and more. I asked for help, but he wanted to put me on oxcarbdiapem, which I told home more than once made me lose control of my leg muscles. He still kept me on that course. He does not care. So long as he doesn’t have to deal with extra paperwork or go out of his way, he could give a damn about how you live."
"I've been seeing Peterson for 12 1/2 years, on a monthly of weekley basis. it's hard to find a good psychiatrist, trust me I know, I've had to deal with a lot of them. But Doc P is so ethical and quirky and catches a lot I don't say. He asks insightful questions and, even though he's the authority figure, we work together. I mean this is my brain. He explains medications every time he precribes a new one, like how it works in my brain. Which, has made other doctors think I'm a geius hehe, which I kind of am, a derpy genuis. but he's so encouraging and is clearly not in his profession for the money. He genuinely cares about his patients. not only their safety and pacifying them, but their whole life health and wellbeing. just saying, he's the best."
"Dr. Peterson has seen my son for a few years now. He has listened to our concerns and is always open to changing things up to get the right fit with medications. We met with him him pre-covid and via telemed during covid and all of my sons needs have been met. His staff is quick, informative and seem to really care."
