"I called in about a sewer smell coming from the bathroom sink. I explained to the lady on the phone that it smelled strong when the a/c or heat was running and that the a/c condensate line did drain into that sink and I thought that, or possibly a clogged vent pipe could be the problem. When the first guy showed up for the first appointment, I was at work so he did a quick check and said he couldn't find anything wrong, so he left and now he was calling me to collect payment. I explained that I had already explained to the lady on the phone where to look for the problem. He said he didn't know anything about that, but he would go back and check again. He went back and decided that the problem was that the condensate line needed a stack and a ball valve. He explained to me and my wife that would definitely fix the problem. He also said he would give me a deal and only charge $600. I said yes fix it if that's for sure going to fix it. He again explained why it would fix the problem, so I agreed. After a week or so it still hadn't gotten any better, so I called them back and they sent out another guy. I explained to him what happened, and he said the first guy shouldn't have guaranteed anything because he couldn't really even tell me for sure what needed to be fixed. He suggested a smoke test and that was another $600. I asked about putting a p-trap in the condensate line or running the condensate line outside. He informed me we couldn't run it outside because it wouldn't be up to code but we could run it to another drain but that would be just guessing, and it would cost $350 or 400. He said the p-trap wouldn't correct anything. So, when Heartland Pluming left my house for 2nd time, I still had the same problem I had before I called them and no real idea on what the problem was, and I had spent $600. The next day I installed a p-trap on the condensate line. I had no idea what I was doing. Now it's fixed. Total cost $5 for the p-trap and I borrowed some PVC cutters and glue from the neighbor. Again, I had no idea what I was doing and no experience diagnosing this sort of problem, but I figured it out. The "experts" had 2 attempts and couldn't figure it out."

"This is the 3rd or 4th time I've used Heartland and we've been happy every time . This time, we had our water heater replaced and I don't know how the experience could have been any better. We were outside of our scheduled arrival time but Sarah (Sara) at Heartland called to let us know about the delay. No one wants to unexpectedly have to pay for a water heater replacement, but the price was fair. Ours was at the end of it's life and it was a tough job. I appreciate how hard Daniel and his apprentice Landon worked to get it done as smoothly and quickly as possible. I would also add that this was 'same day' work when we didn't actually know at first a replacement was needed. Great job all around. I highly recommend Heartland for any/all of your plumbing needs."

"So, Bradon was repairing a line that was damaged by other technicians, he did it fast, and he even repacked the dirt under it to support the pipe even more. He even came out after scjeduled hours so I did not have to spend another day out of my home. I am relieved to be in my home again."
