Family Psychiatry of The Woodlands is a leading health institution located at 8701 New Trails Drive in The Woodlands, Texas. Our dedicated team of clinicians offers comprehensive evaluations, psychotherapy, medication management, and education to patients age five and up who are struggling with various mental health issues.
Our clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and our staff is available to assist with scheduling appointments, medication refills, billing inquiries, and communication with our clinicians. Dr. Marshall Lucas serves as the Medical Director at Woodland Springs in Conroe, TX, providing inpatient hospitalization and treatment for patients age thirteen and up with psychiatric, addictive, and co-occurring disorders.
With over 30 years of experience, our diverse team of clinicians at Family Psychiatry of The Woodlands offers individualized care to clients of all ages. We prioritize your needs and tailor your treatment plan with a range of in-office services, including psychological testing, psychotherapy, medication management, and TMS. Additionally, we conduct IHC monitored clinical trials for treatment-resistant mental health conditions.
We understand the importance of early intervention in mental health, as research shows that many children and adolescents do not receive appropriate support for mental health issues. Existing patients can easily reach their clinician and support team through our patient portal for follow-up appointments, medication refills, and billing concerns. Requesting medical records is also simple through the patient portal. At Family Psychiatry of The Woodlands, your mental health and well-being are our top priorities.

"The staff was extremely rude. The things you have to agree to you feel like a criminal. Because they are treating you like one. The front desk freaked out on me after I told them I wasn't interested in meds or a second appointment. She said "What's wrong with you? Maybe you signed up for the wrong thing." And she said it in a nasty voice because this is a pill house. No Dr.s and no treatment, just pills. If you go to this awful place, leave immediately. They are helping themselves and not you."

"I have no complaints about this practice!!! I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but I'm so glad I gave them a chance! Scheduling is great (I've experience very little wait time, usually), office staff is good, never had any billing issues and the communication through the patient portal is AMAZING! This is the only practice I've ever been to where they run and use a patient portal the way it should be. Always a quick response and never any problems getting medications refilled quickly. ....and the office building setting is beautiful!"
