Walgreens Pharmacy

"If you or your child is sick and are in need of medication right away DO NOT use this pharmacy. Dropped off 4 prescriptions at 10:30am for my sick child to learn from the application that only one medication was filled with the rest in progress and one having an issue with insurance. Began calling at 12:30 to wait on hold for at least 90 minutes with no answer and then began calling at 5:30 with no answer. In going to the pharmacy at 8pm and still being on hold for 2 hours there were a total of 2 pharmacists filling medications and 3 employees at the register. I told the pharmacist that it's weird that no one has been on the phone in the 20 minutes waiting in line and was told that they are NOT ANSWERING the phone due to the amount of flu shots being administered and is also the reason why 2 medications had not been filled. I demanded that they fill my medications and were only able to fill 3 out of the 4 and said they needed to contact the doctor on the one that had issues with insurance. They never call the doctor and the issue was the pharmacist misread the dosage to where insurance was not covering it. Out doctor tried for the entire day to get a hold of a pharmacist but with no luck. When going to get the medication today the pharmacist said they were waiting for the doctor to call and we begged them to call the doctor and then FINALLY we got out medication. STAY AWAY!"

"This has got to be one of the WORST Walgreen's in the country, and they go out of their way, it seems, to screw things up including cost of Rxs...Calling to talk to "a member of the pharmacy staff" is an absolute joke, customer wait times average an hour. HEY, WALGREEN'S, HERE'S A THOUGHT! HAVE MORE THAN ONE PERSON ANSWER THE DANG PHONE! We're looking into finding another pharmacy (just don't want to leave one lousy pharmacy for another-Any HP suggestions??...Oh...and, btw ? I usually only leave Google reviews for great places, but this pharmacy has consistently been so bad and so annoying, I'm making an exception."

"Went here for a covid test in the drive through. Made an appointment online and confirmed said appointment via email. I get to the store and show them the confirmation email about three different times. Turns out I'm not in their computer system so I wasn't able to get the test. Inefficient at best. Would not recommend this pharmacy."

"Not a great location. Consistently out of stock of basic items and very long lines due to short staffing. Usually drive over to Waukegan Rd instead if I actually need something specific."
