"Discovered 4 puppies that were presumably dumped in our backyard. Called animal services around 2:30pm on Thursday. A very kind and compassionate female officer arrived Friday mid-morning to pick them up. She took her time, laying on the ground to gently coerce two of the timid puppies out from under the Conex Container. It was evident the puppies were not in perfect health. She indicated it looked like they had ringworm and/or mange. She assured me there were vets available and they would get immediate medical care and put up for adoption. As a new resident to CC, I am super grateful to have a responsive animal control center available."

"After several days of trying to figure out many things I was definitely disappointed in the information that was givin to me and how to deal with a dog bite. My son was bitten by my dog Sunday. Started calling the city 7 30 am Monday morning. Pretty much was ignored like it wasn't there problem. Called 10 times at least to get the dog off my property. Then called several times Tuesday. Finally a so called officer Thomas comes to my house meets my wife and was very insensitive to the situation and rudely spoke to her so called officer barley got out of his vehicle. He should look for a different job . What a prixk . Finaly got a call by a officer named Scott she was a bit helpful. But left out the part if you are surrendering your animal you cant pay cash . I learned on arrival at the pound of this . Went in tried to start the paper work . They said 100 dollars asked the front desk lady if there was tax or anything. She said no went to the dollar store got a 100 dollar debit prepaid card . Fun fact had to wait a hour for it to be able to be used after another hour . Tried paying with it . It didn't work or there machine dkdnt accept it . Left again put 120 in my bank . Came back up yo the pound . Lol tried to pay .o snap they made another mistake my case wasnt in the file waited another 30 minutes. Finally they got there computer paper work right . Got to surrender my dog . After 4 hours . It's a sad day for me and my wife . This place did not help the situation. We pay cash out of pocket. Plus our city state taxes. All I ask is this do your damn job ."

"Got my dynamic duo chipped yesterday - the young ladies were fabulous and definitely put my dogs at ease. It has given me great peace of mind should they ever get out."

"Picked up a beautiful wirehaired mixed terrier from here, I chose to take her home and spay here at vet instead of wait on them to do it. Upon examination, she's not 5 she's 11, she needs a full mouth extraction $1000 give or take, has an enlarged uterus so $275 to spay and needs to use IV drip for surgery for sake of her age $150. I called them, they weren't rude but the answer was, I can bring her back and dump her and her not get care she needs or spend the money. We'll I'm not dumping her I'm going to care for her thanks for nothing."
