"I have been doing my taxes with Mayra and her staff going on 3 years now. When I first came over to Mayra I was surprised on cost to do my taxes. The person that did my taxes for me previously was charging me triple the amount. Also she was good at explaining my taxes to me. Which I never had someone do. She even went as far as checking previous years that were done by my previous tax advisor and was able to file amendment tax return because my others weren't file correctly. "UPDATE: Amanda worked with us to make sure we got our refund and we finally got it about 2 weeks after she stepped in and figured out what was going on. We appreciate her quick work just wish the communication happened sooner. We are willing to give them another chance next year and increase their rating again. Our tax consultant was Mayra and although she got us a great refund, I have never had worse communication with anyone. We send multiple emails and she never responds. She texts mostly and tried to guilt trip us for not having answers in a timely manner. She only ever replied when we talked to her boss. We submitted back in March and we did get our federal returns back in a timely manner however we had recently moved from Virginia and we STILL have not received it. What’s worse is that Mayra isn’t even following up to help us out. My husband called about 3-4 ago, she said she will resubmit and we should get it within 2 weeks. It’s been nearly a month and still nothing. He’s sent her 5 emails over the last week and she has not responded back. I just called the office hoping to get this escalated and they were super nice and said they would figure this out ASAP. I hope they do and will update me review once I get an answer. However, I do NOT recommend working with Mayra as she does not care for her customers."
