"I can’t lie, I love Steak N Shake but the new butter burger I had today almost took me out! It was way too much butter on there for me. I get I got a butter burger but that was just way too much butter to have me choking. I tried to push through but I just had to put it on another slice of bread. The milkshake was good though. The guy in drive through had great customer service also."
"My first Steak 'n Shake when I ate here circa 1960. Back then there was only a small counter, and car hops. It was a real treat for us to eat here. I've added a picture of a Steak 'n Shake that looked identical to the one originally at this location."
"I am a steak and shake employee I just started a couple weeks ago. I know a lot of these reviews were put in before I started working, I also understand a lot of customers aren’t happy about the customer service experience or the lack of cleanliness. I work very hard every night to make sure the floors are clean, tables are wiped down, bathrooms are clean, kitchen is clean and to make sure to provide excellent customer service to make you feel welcome. I know sometimes we might be falling behind on orders but it’s just overwhelming because I try to get their orders done as quickly as possible."
"I can say I was honestly surprised at the cleanliness and atmosphere now that the dine in experience has greatly changed at Steak n Shake. Ordering was super easy at the front on the kiosks, our food came out fairly quickly even though we were there at a busy time. It was easy to grab and refill our drinks and condiments ourselves without having to wait for service. Everything was clean, the food was fresh, and overall a really nice experience for fast food! We have gone to that location several times drive thru, take out, and dine in and we have yet to have a bad experience. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful as well!"
