"The reason I rate a 3 star was because I called to get information, but I was informed the owner of the company passed away 6 months ago. I feel bad for the family who keeps getting calls from random people who ask for the owner and having to give the people an explanation every time."

"Whatever you do, hire anyone else before resorting to this company.. the only good thing about this whole dilemma was that they made it out the same day (in 3 hours from the moment we called).. aside from that, I wish I would have waited for another company.. in short: we had a gas leak, they changed a few valves and 1 line and after 6 hours still didn’t find the leak.. they charged us 500$ for the useless time they spent at our home, the following day they came back, after an hour they found the leak was in the main gas line, we switched to electric appliances. Spending the $500 was not worth it, had they pressure tested to find the leak FIRST, we would have saved the money, and we would have decided to switch to electric beforehand. It really sucks, I really felt taken advantage of.. I feel like they milk it since they work on an $85 an hour basis. Seriously, find someone trustworthy & more reliable to do the job. (They also requested we pay them for the hour they came the following day.) They also refused to give us a “rough estimate” on the cost of the job, you’d think they would have a slight idea as to how long.. ONE OF THE WORST COMPANY’S EVER."

"I called on a Sunday for a clogged drain. He couldn't come out right away, but for another 2 hours. I kept calling other plumbers to see if they could get out earlier and other plumbers were available. I called Rick back to cancel. He was nice about it. Then the other plumber stalled on me and I called Rick back and apologized and asked if he could come. He agrees to send someone out in a hour and half. I said that was fine. Then the original plumber shows up. It had only been ten minutes since I called Rick plumbing, so I called again and cancelled, Yes, my fault I know. I was apologetic but he was very rude about it, telling me "yea right you're sorry, my guys are already going over there." I told him, it hasn't even been an hour or close to an hour for me to cancel. It had only been about 15 min. He hung up on me. He was nice at first, then was rude about me cancelling. I apologized for it. J and S plumbing showed up and fixed the problem. They're very nice too."

"Hired these folk about two years ago and seems like they haven't changed because I had similar experience with previous reviewer "Leo". Had shower faucet leak, called they gave me a low quote and short fix time. Guy arrived, assessed problem said just needed to change out faucets. Removed old ones then took off to store. He was gone over an hour!!! Bought cheapest parts (I know because I later researched) and replaced old ones. Problem fixed and was given bill of more than twice quoted. Asked why the difference because I was given a different quote over phone he replied for parts and labor. Came inside to check out work and he had broken tiles around faucets and left a mess in tub and floor. Will never use again. Do not trust!"

"Great response time. BUT, when plumbers showed up, asked for approximate time, was told 2 hours, then the other guy said no, should be about and hour or less, and price would be $125. I thought it was great since I had to take my daughter to gymnastics. At approximately one hour mark, didn't hear any noise coming from the kitchen, thought they were done. To my surprise, they were gone, van was gone. Tools all over the floor, job appeared almost complete. After 45 minutes, they returned with NOTHING in their hands and complete the job in less than 10 minutes. They reported sink draining slowly but they are now after hours and said it might take another hour. As I needed to leave soon, declined the Ezra work. After hesitation, I reviewed the bill and noticed was charged for 2 hours, So I called the owner and immediately justifies they had left to get a part. AGAIN, they returned with hands empty. Do not trust this plumber."
