"We moved to Crystal Lake from Chicago and found this apartment to be the perfect transition out of “city” life. The neighborhood is safe & quiet and is close to a lot of fun local coffee shops and restaurants. We quickly found the neighbors to be very welcoming and friendly. There are often tenants who host parties and invite others to it. Whenever we had minor issues that needed fixed, the maintenance crew was quick to repair and friendly. We love the history of the building; it’s great to see a historic structure be used in a fun way. Many locals ask about it are happy to see it put to good use! It’s an older building but everything is updated and we don’t notice any signs of out of date utilities. Overall, we love the Church Street Apartments and highly recommend."
