I was very impressed by his overall compassion and professionalism. Not many doctors go out of their way to try to help you or get you the help you need. Or even care. Dr.Goyal is truly a godsend. If it was not for him and Pat and his team I dont know how I would be able to do this...their support and encouragement is everything to me. It makes you feel good to to know your not alone. "While the Doctor himself did his best to treat his patients, I’d like to inform everyone of the behavior to be expected from the person who serves as the receptionist at the front desk. Dr. Goyal discharged me as a patient on 12/3/18 because of the backlash that came from the receptionist. Due to a rescheduling of an appointment made by the receptionist, I missed an appointment as I use transportation that requires two business days notice to get there. With that being said, I was out of my medication long before my next appointment date which just so happened to be the day of a snow storm that resulted in the office being closed. Melissa, the receptionist assured me my medication would be called in no later than that evening 11/26. It was not. Tuesday 11/27 I called to inform her I was experiencing severe symptoms due to lack of medication and she shrugged it off and blamed me for it in an attempt to justify her inability to follow through with her promise. Later that afternoon after I had contacted the pharmacy expecting my refill to be there, again it was not. When I contacted her again, in tears and as respectful as possible, she informed me that “her crown broke on her tooth and that her priority was getting that fixed NOT worrying about me (the patient) right now and my refill” and hung up on me. I have never met someone who is as rude and careless as she is as she did not put the care and health of the doctors patients at the top of her priority list. I can understand needing to see a dentist but blatantly telling me her problem was more important than following through with her promise and guarantee to send my medication almost two full days prior to this phone call is inexcusable. Again, now I am discharged as a patient because of her inability to follow through with her promises that never should have been made in the first place. Be advised that when you see this doctor if for any reason at all you make the princess who answers the phone mad, you will be discharged with no regard to your health."
