"I had an emergency and my primary care provider wasn't able to see me right away. I went to Physicians Immediate Care and I was taken care of in an excellent manner. The physician assistant was very caring, thorough, knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner. The facility is very clean."

"Worst experience I’ve had at a medical facility. I came from New York, my insurance is taken out of state and I verified with them on the phone and online and this location was in network. The receptionist (CJ I believe was the name she gave me) said they don’t take my insurance and I should go elsewhere even after I showed her online it says they do. She didn’t call a supervisor for help all she said was it wasn’t a participating insurance with no explanation. I have hives all over my body and I’m obviously having an allergic reaction and she said I had to pay $165 out of pocket in order to be seen! This is Ridiculous. I work in healthcare and never in my life would I be so rude and dismissive towards a patient. I feel like I was being discriminated against because I said I came due to a bug bite from a hotel which I wasn’t even sure what it was. I went to prompt med urgent care in Waukegan and they took me right away, took my insurance, had no copay and the supervisor helped the receptionist. If you need to be seen got to prompt med urgent care in Waukegan instead, the staff and doctors are great and attentive and want you to be seen."

"Had the worse experience at the Zion, IL location today. This is not the first time I had been here however they couldn’t find me in the system. I arrived for my appointment and that had me sit in my car for over half an hour while they “checked me in”. When they called me in there was no other patient in the office at all. I stopped at the front desk and was informed that I had to pay $105 as a deposit. I had to send my daughter home for my FSA card because even after talking to them twice they never mentioned anything about a deposit. While waiting for my daughter the assistant came from the back and started messing around with the receptionist. After 3 minutes of unprofessional behavior the assistant turned and told the receptionist that I couldn’t be seen because my drivers license is expired. I explained that I was aware and hadn’t gone to renew it because I’m sick (hence why I was there) and the DMV didn’t have an appointments till November 9th. Very rudely she responded that she had to check with her supervisor. While the assistant “checked with her supervisor” the receptionist dismissed me and spoke to the person behind me. The person behind me was an elderly woman was complains of a major cut on her hand and pain. The receptionist told the woman she had to register online in order to be seen. The woman said I don’t know how to use my phone for that and my hand is limiting me. The receptionist didn’t seem to care and said “well in order to be seen you have to register online. At this time the assistant came back and told the receptionist that I couldn’t be seen with an expired license. I had never heard of a medical facility refusing care over an expired license for a returning patient. I left and went to a different facility and had no problem at all."

"Very efficient process. I like that I can schedule an estimated time. I also prefer waiting in my car and they text you when it’s time to come in. I was greeted by friendly staff who took me right to the exam room. The nurse practitioner was also friendly and efficient. Overall a great experience."
