"It was very difficult to get my first/confirm pregnancy appointment scheduled in time, even though it was several weeks out...I called to schedule the appointment VERY shortly after finding out I was pregnant. I originally wanted to go to a different office with Dupage Med Group/Duly for my pregnancy, but downers grove had the "first available" appointment, which was still 2 weeks later than I should have been seen. Anyone who has been pregnant will tell you that the wait until the first appointment feels like a very long time and is a stressful wait!...when I went in for the first appointment, after waiting in the waiting room for almost an HOUR, I was told that I would NOT be able to been seen because I scheduled with a PA, not a doctor and the PA could not do the confirm pregnancy ultrasound. I did not personally make this appointment with the PA....the scheduler with the practice did....she knew what my appointment was for. Not a single staff at the clinic apologized for this. I was in tears. I had to wait even longer for my first appointment. I realize mistakes happen, but I was very disappointed with the lack of empathy of the staff. I figured this was an honest mistake and felt better after actually seeing the nurse and doctor for my first appointment, as they DID apologize for what had happened. But, overall, my experience was extremely disappointing with Dupage Med Group/Duly Health. You see a different doctor for each visit, which I understand the reason for. But, I felt more like a number than a person and knew that the doctors did not remember me...I felt they did not care much about me and/or my pregnancy. I had to schedule all of the appointments for my pregnancy the day of the first appointment, as I was told the doctors would be booked and I would not be able to get an appointment during the timeframe I needed. The 20 week ultrasound needed to be scheduled SERVERAL WEEKS in advance and I still could not get in until the 21st week! Scheduling appointments with a scheduler was almost always more frustrating than anything due to long wait times and unfriendly staff. I have more I could say about the lack of empathy I was shown. I hope others have better experiences, but I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Some of the doctors and most of the nurses seem to be kind people, but I think there is something missing or wrong with the system they work in."

"I’ve had a good experience with the doctor (Dr. Summer Wirth), but the staff was less to be desired . I’ve been trying to get a prescription filled since 8/5 and someone dropped the ball. To make matters worse , I’ve dealt with a particularly snarky nurse there . She’s unprofessional and I didn’t appreciate how she had ME follow up with the company that handles pre authorizations, when that’s HER job. It’s now 8/31 and still no prescription. I’ve also asked to speak to a manager ( really didn’t want to go there, but I felt disrespected). Not only did the manager not get back to me, but I called again 3 times and either I got disconnected or was told that I was being transferred to the manager’s VM and got disconnected. I finally reached the end of my rope and just decided to just write the review. I hate that I may have to change offices , but this experience has been really awful. It has made me feel like I do not matter as a patient . I suffer from an anxiety disorder and this has just made it worse . I don’t want to call back and be treated with snarky comments or being hung up on."

"Overallthe experience was good.All of the OB GYN doctors are very nice especially Dr.Wolowick, Dr. Friedman and Dr.Mitchell. I had only gone to this practice because I wanted Dr.Wolowick from the start but was given information that I have to see all the 6 OB's on staff because Icould be seen by any of the doctors on my due date, which was fine. I only gave only 1 star because of a stressful situation I am experiencing that could have been avoided, definitely there are some miscommunication along the way, expectations were not outline early on by the staff to me. You circle around all the OB GYN MDs and sometimes you dont get that rapport/connection you want for the entire process.If you want to discuss some issues you dont have a direct access to one doctor who had followed you along the journey but I had to communicate to the RN and then they will communicate it to the last MD I saw. You pretty much see a whole bunch of doctors including maternal fetal MD's. I was temporarily scheduled for a C section and the MD said I can cancel it anytime if my mind changes for normal delivery. ( I was contemplating if I wanted normal or elective C section that time since no indication for C section) . However, things changed and might have still to undergo a C section.Unfortunately I was scheduled to a doctor I didn't meet and only found out when I was reviewing my chart. I had asked if I can change my date or meet this MD for my last consultation before the scheduled surgery but RN said they were all full, and said that it was my responsibility to make sure I get to see all of the 6 OB GYN which in the beginning I thought it was the schedulers responsibility not mine.Ive only pointed out that I havent seen 2 MD's couple weeks ago so they tried to squeeze the 2 MDs for my last consulations. What a stressful day.Also, you dont get your original doctor you had initially taken when you get a C section, you still get to see the one who is on call which I dont understand if a C section was scheduled then the patient should have the right to get their preferred MD but not in Dupage medical group. The RN kept stating , we are all full for the week I was scheduled and cannot accommodate any of my request ( either to see this MD on my last consultation that way I could meet her or change my date). This group actually wasn't recommended my some of my friends but since I was already somewhat half way pregnant I can't just change OB doctor . I would recommend you to go to a practice who have 1-3 OB GYN or better a solo practice by a OB GYN so whatever decision you have will be between only you and your 1 MD. Im so disappointed and stressed at my 38th week."
