"I lived her for one year and it’s the shortest length of time I’ve ever rented for (I wish I had left earlier). Upon moving in, my floor flooded from the dishwasher. After a heavy rain, my entire entryway flooded from the front door being poorly attached and lack is insulation. I took photos of my damaged belongings and asked about the door, and I never got a response from Ginger. I had cockroaches in my basement and kitchen for months, sent photos to Ginger and through the resident portal work order, and was never responded to. When I moved in, the stove/vent was absolutely disgusting and hadn’t been cleaned. Back screen door didn’t lock or hardly attached. Stains on the stair carpet and a bathroom upstairs that was falling apart. The bathtub paint peels with every bath or shower. Hardly any warm water. Walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors walking up and down their stairs. I still have all my emails from trying to get someone to address the water from the front door and cockroaches, but nothing in response. Ginger did not care to reach out until I said I was not going to sign another lease, and even acknowledged her lack of response in an email as I turned in my notice to leave. The lease agreement is like nothing I’ve ever seen- do not expect your deposit back, even if you follow 80% of what is asked. I would never live here again and pay what I had to pay. I now live in a nice, brand new apartment for less than I paid here. I never review anything, because these things are subjective, but I wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews when I considered this place. Your work orders will be ignored until someone decides that it may be important. I hear many people say they are gossiped about by the front office. It’s absolutely unprofessional and disgusting. I promise you can find somewhere better and more worth your money."

"My wife and I have been here 3 years now. We absolutely love it. The Complex Manager, Ginger, is great. She is always willing and quite capable to help with any questions or needs. The maintenance crew is SUPER! Always courteous, personable, professional, and really good at what they do. Our A/C unit died. Trey (maintenance) quickly assessed the problem and installed a temporary unit until he could get a new unit. He had the new unit installed the very next day. Stunning! The work he did out in that heat to keep our unit cool was amazing. Thank you just doesn't express our gratitude. The facilities available here are super. We have a very nice pool, a completely new workout room (all new equipment), basketball courts, playgrounds, beautiful baseball and soccer fields, and an on-site pre-school. The people are all very friendly. We love our neighbors. People actually TALK to each other and CARE about each other. We have families with little ones through teens. We have lots of college students, young adults, couples just getting started and seniors like us. It is a very diverse neighborhood and we love it. The location is super. We are close to everything you could want. There are stores of all varieties, clothing, groceries, hardware, dining of every type from food trucks at Frankie Martin's to upscale dining at Cooper's Hawk. It probably sounds too good to be true. Well it is pretty darned close."

"I have lived at Sterling Heights for over a year now. Ginger in the office is wonderful! Very responsive. Maintenance is also great if something were to come up. The pool, playground, and basketball courts are awesome for kids/families. Great place to live in St. Charles overall."
